Never Forgotten

Life is pretty lonely without you mate. I remind myself every day how lucky I was to have a friend like you for 30 years and I will always miss you. I hope that you’re causing mayhem up there?! 🙃

PS at least you didn’t have to endure that shit show at The Mem last season! 😱

Gone but not forgotten

There’s not been a day when I’ve not wanted to pick up the phone and call or text you, my friend. They say time’s a healer but I’m not at that point yet. You are missed every day and life’s not the same without you. I know you‘ve been keeping an eye on me whilst I’ve been unwell. Thank you. And I’m sorry that I’m not ready to join you yet! Linda and the kids need me more right now.

I know we’d still be laughing and swapping jokes about the madness of Rovers 21-22 season (and planning which away games to go to next year). I bet you loved the minute‘s clap we arranged at Rovers in your memory… just when Swindle scored?! FFS! 🙄😂 I also know you were with

us when we were all in 7th heaven on Saturday. What the bloody hell happened? 😂

Life eh…

Remembering with fondness.

We only knew Tim a short while. He came into our lives when his best friend Paul Richards, married our daughter Linda. He always made us feel very comfortable in his company, as though we had known him forever. My husband Pete doesn’t make friends easily but he liked Tim from the moment he met him. As I said earlier, we didn’t know him very long but we will remember him always. Rest in peace Tim.

One Night in Paris

So many anecdotes of days/nights/weekends out with Mr B , but this one sums him up for me ...

Our design practice had invited Tim and a handful of other clients to Paris for the weekend to watch England v France 6N rugby (A Welshman taking one for the team and yes I did support England).

As humble consultants our budget was limited so we planned to take our guests for a few drinks and a meal before the game. Nothing too flash. On arrival at the hotel Tim clocked that the Gullivers Travel team were also based in our hotel and were meeting and greeting their Full Hospitality guests In the lobby. Never one to miss an opportunity , he introduced himself to the unsuspecting lady in charge and within 10 minutes he had somehow charmed/blagged us a complimentary table for 10 in the 5* restaurant within the vaults…
